I have been with Recruit, Connect & Care for 8 Months.
What is your favourite part of working at Recruit, Connect & Care?
In my last 8 months of employment with RCC I have enjoyed and learned a lot while working with different clients. My favourite part of working with RCC is the flexibility with rosters and my amazing manager and workmates.
How would you describe the Recruit, Connect & Care company culture?
RCC is very welcoming to people of all backgrounds and genders and provides a very flexible work environment.
RCC is always supportive of its employees and respects everyone.
What does your job entail?
My job involves delivering direct care to people who are living with a disability. Providing them with appropriate support required for their activities of daily living.
What are you most proud of in your career so far?
I am most proud of being able to deliver care that is person-centred and how it has brought a positive impact on my clients and their families.
How have you grown professionally while on the Recruit, Connect & Care team?
RCC provided me with an opportunity to apply my theoretical knowledge to practical and I am very proud to say that I have grown so much professionally and have the skills that are required to be a caring support worker. I am very thankful towards the ongoing training and opportunities provided by RCC.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years, what are your goals? Well life is very unpredictable, and I am not sure what tomorrow holds, but if I have to answer, then I wish to be in a position where I can demonstrate my leadership skills and be in a management team where I can learn every aspect of disability.
What’s the best advice you can give to someone who just started their career?
My advice to the newcomers will be to stay positive and be dedicated to your work and hard work will pay off for sure.
When you are at work, how do you motivate yourself?
Knowing that my little efforts can bring positive change into my client’s life has always been a great source of motivation.
Tell me something about you that most people don’t know about you.
Most people don’t know that I am kind of scared of water. (I could never swim no matter how hard I tried to learn).

If I had a super-power I wish to fly. This allows me to go anywhere I want.
