The role of the Disability Support Worker is to work with participants under the NDIS. You will work closely with multiple clients, developing rapport and forming a lasting, meaningful professional relationship with them. You will work within the NDIS funding framework, assisting them to achieve their goals, increase their independence and participation within the community. You will provide support to people with disability and/or

Key duties include:

  • Assistance with ADL’s such as toileting, showering, dressing, cooking and cleaning.
  • Providing individual support to clients with psychosocial requirements.
  • Assisting clients with social outings, shopping trips and appointments.
  • Liaising with the families and representatives as required.
  • Promoting positive behavior’s, learning experiences and skill development.


  • Certificate III in individual support, community services, disability services or similar
  • National police certificate 
  • Current driving license 
  • Current first aid HLTAID003
